Watt It Takes
with Tim Latimer

Tim Latimer grew up in West Texas in the shadow of the last coal plant built in the United States, where nearly everyone he knew worked in the fossil fuel industry. But after beginning his career as a drilling engineer, he began to see how the tools and techniques he was using could help capture the natural heat in the earth’s crust. Tim spoke with Emily about co-founding Fervo Energy to bring these advanced drilling techniques to new geothermal projects.
