Program Manager Role

Powerhouse is looking for a self-directed individual to lead our program management. The key responsibilities for the Program Manager include management and implementation of all public and private partnerships. The Program Manager will be responsible for expanding and connecting Powerhouse’s network of startups, corporations, utilities and investors. This is an opportunity to advance Powerhouse’s impact as a member of a  a highly effective and diverse team.

Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • Lead strategy and implementation of Access Innovation, a Powerhouse led initiative in partnership with the US Department of Energy, including program implementation, startup and partner engagement, metrics collection, and outcomes reporting

  • Work with Powerhouse’s Director of Strategy & Business Development to provide value to corporate and investor partners via targeted research and consulting

  • Coordinate with Powerhouse Engagement Associate to host workshops for startups, industry leaders, and investors that foster partnership opportunities in the form of pilot projects, customer contracts, investments, and acquisitions

  • Lead grant administration management and support financial management as it relates to program revenue and broader operations

  • Leverage the Powerhouse brand to assist in Powerhouse Ventures deal sourcing

    Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Build key relationships with startups, corporations, and investors

  • Leverage our network to identify opportunities for portfolio companies

  • Leverage our brand to recruit technical experts

  • Support Powerhouse Ventures deal flow pipeline and diligence

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of relevant full time experience

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills

  • Team-oriented, fast-paced, outcomes driven, high EQ

  • Meet and exceed deadlines with consistent follow through

  • Motivated by challenges, solutions-oriented, relentlessly positive  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution

  • Industry experience in clean tech
