Who Are We Looking For?
Powerhouse Innovation is hiring an Associate to focus on prospecting and lead qualification to support our sales process. The Associate will play a key role in expanding the team’s sales pipeline as well as developing associated marcom and competitive analysis.
What You’ll Be Working On
Prospecting and Lead Qualification
Identify prospects in all target client segments for our service offerings
Coordinate outreach to sales prospects as well as lead qualification
Support sales process
Support the sales team in closing client opportunities
Lead sales for sponsorships of our Watt It Takes podcast and Powerhouse’s annual New Dawn event
Maintain team conference tracker and support team with conference preparation
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Conduct market research to support the evolution of existing services and the development of new offerings
Track and analyze the competitive landscape, monitoring new entrants and market trends
Provide insights and recommendations from research findings to support strategic growth
Marcom
Collaborate with the team to develop compelling sales and business development materials
Utilize our CRM system to organize outreach campaigns and track progress toward sales goals
Additional Responsibilities
Assist in ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
About You
Experience
Bachelors or masters degree in an energy related field
2-5 years of relevant full-time experience in an energy related sector
Experience with traditional sales processes including sales pipeline management and one or more CRM tools
Experience interfacing with clients at the senior management level
Demonstrated Skills and Capabilities
Team-oriented, with high emotional intelligence

Excellent communications skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines with consistent follow through
Intellectual curiosity with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Compensation and Benefits
The target salary range for this position is $85k - $105k. Competitive pay will be offered commensurate with qualifications, and competitive benefits will be provided including comprehensive medical plans, 401(k) plan, flexible time off, and an annual professional development budget.
